Ricciardo on returning to racing for fun rather than championships

Daniel Ricciardo says any return to racing would be for the “fun aspect” rather than chasing championships, after retiring from motorsport following his departure from Formula 1 in late 2024. Ricciardo said: "I don't want to be, like, too black and white, because never say never. I'm really enjoying not competing, where I currently sit... If I was to do something maybe one day, it would be definitely more from a fun aspect than a, like, 'I'm chasing some championship' aspect, I think... I just want to have some fun with it."

FIA revises ADUO review points

The FIA has confirmed tweaks to F1’s ADUO (Additional Development and Upgrade Opportunities) rules after the cancellation of the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix, which has provisionally cut the 2026 calendar to 22 rounds.
