Leclerc on Ferrari's Miami performance drop from Saturday

Charles Leclerc says Ferrari need to understand why it lost performance in the Miami Grand Prix compared with Saturday after struggling for pace and tyre degradation despite bringing a major upgrade package. Leclerc said: "On the medium we weren't strong. We were degrading a massive amount. On the hard, it wasn't great at the beginning but then it picked up and was a little bit better, but it was never at the level of Saturday. We need to look at it. We lost a lot of performance from then, and I would like to understand exactly what happened there."

The FIA has confirmed tweaks to F1’s ADUO (Additional Development and Upgrade Opportunities) rules after the cancellation of the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix, which has provisionally cut the 2026 calendar to 22 rounds.
