Lawson on Racing Bulls lacking pace in Miami

Liam Lawson said Racing Bulls were “not quick enough” in the Miami Grand Prix as he described being in “survival” mode early on and trying to “chase” the car’s balance after starting 11th. Lawson said: "I was just trying to survive the first lap, and we weren't quick enough. We weren't quick enough in general in the first couple of laps, and I already knew that we had quite a bad balance and we were trying to chase it. But it wasn't enough, and we just weren't quick enough this weekend."

The FIA has confirmed tweaks to F1’s ADUO (Additional Development and Upgrade Opportunities) rules after the cancellation of the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix, which has provisionally cut the 2026 calendar to 22 rounds.
