Antonelli on Mercedes race start problems

Kimi Antonelli says Mercedes’ trend of losing places at the start of races this season is “not acceptable” and needs addressing, as he admitted he is still inconsistent on clutch drop. Antonelli said: "But it is not acceptable, I think, especially on a weekend like this, where the gaps were a lot closer, [a bad start] can really change the race. So it is a point where, together with the team, we need to look into it. Mainly from me, I'm still a little bit inconsistent, especially on clutch-drop. I still don't have that confidence, being consistent with that, I still have a bit of uncertainty, so it is a big point which needs to be improved."

FIA revises ADUO review points

The FIA has confirmed tweaks to F1’s ADUO (Additional Development and Upgrade Opportunities) rules after the cancellation of the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix, which has provisionally cut the 2026 calendar to 22 rounds.
